Brick, Stone & Heritage Cleaning by Prestige FM.

Brick and natural stone need a gentler approach than modern cladding. The DOFF system uses superheated steam at low pressure to soften carbon, algae, paint and staining so it can be removed without eroding the surface or the mortar joints.

For listed buildings and conservation areas we carry out test patches first, so you and your conservation officer can approve the method and result before the full clean.

What is DOFF cleaning?

DOFF is a cleaning system that uses superheated steam at low pressure. It softens and lifts dirt, paint and growth without the abrasion of grit blasting or the force of a pressure washer, which makes it suitable for heritage masonry.
